Western and Wildlife Paintings Created on Feathers
As an artist from Washington State, my art depicts what I love, the wildlife, scenery and the lifestyle of the American West. One difference in my artwork is my choice of canvas. All of my paintings are created on feathers. I use primarily turkey feathers which provide a wide, flat surface which can be done on a single feather or layered for large, detailed paintings. Along with my original artwork, I've developed a technique to print my own art and designs directly onto custom hat feathers. I am able to print any image onto a feather to create a special original design for customers.
